The T-19 is a heavy duty, 4 speed truck transmission. It is synchronized in all 4 forward gears. While it lacks the granny low of many manual truck transmissions, it was a reliable unit that complimented the operating range of the 6.9L idi. The T-19 is very similar in appearance to the T-18; both were used in a variety of applications. The T-19 was offered with a granny low 1st gear, but this version was not used behind the 6.9L idi diesel. Parts and transmissions are widely available due to the large number of applications the T-19 was used in.
