About The Diesel Power Network

The Diesel Power Network was created in the Summer of 2007 to provide a portal of information for Ford, GM, & Dodge diesel truck owners. Technological advances in the diesel engine industry have caused an enormous boom in the popularity of diesel trucks offered by the Big 3. The unsurpassed efficiency, longevity, performance potential, and resale value of these trucks make them an attractive investment for individuals from all walks of life. The Diesel Power Network is dedicated to supporting growth in the industry and providing information to current and potential truck owners.

Positions & Opinions:

Here at the Diesel Power Network, we view diesel technology as a viable solution to many of the problems and uncertainties our great Nation faces regarding fuel economy and internal combustion engine emissions. A huge problem with widespread growth in the industry (using diesel engines in cars & light trucks) is the negative reputation diesel engines have received from individuals and lawmakers alike. We hope to provide some insight into the truth behind diesel technology and its capabilities. If a 400+ ci engine in a 7,500 lb truck can achieve 20+ miles per gallon, imagine the possibilities of a engine in the range of 2.0L mounted in a small car or truck. Additionally, we believe the stringent emissions regulations placed on our trucks are preventing growth and advancement in the industry.

Diesel motorsports are becoming more and more popular everyday. As enthusiasts, we support all diesel motorsports and hope to see continued growth in the sports we have come to enjoy. If you're interested in motorsports and have not been to a sled pull or diesel drag racing event, you are missing out on a truely spectacular experience.
